Jona Marrero was born in the island of La Gomera in 1982, although from very young up to the island of Tenerife, becoming his permanent place of residence and current.

Jona Marrero's career as an artist Dj, starting with only 10 years old, when he is attracted by the "world of mixing”, by vocation and without any influence nearby. <span style="background: white">Already in this early age began to make mixes without professional circles, based on several stereos and a tape recorder running.</span>

Two years later, and the possibility that is offered, to acquire a professional, Jona Marrero began his career in the music world through the vinyl. At that time, the electronic sound of influence in the island was the Hard-Core and Oldskool, focused sound where his musical style.

Later, with the passage of time and the evolution of electronic music styles Jona Marrero passes as 2-Step or Garage perfectly adapted to the trends of the moment.

The evolution has followed up, and today, his style could be engaging in the House and Tech House, trendy music and now defendant in any of the clubs on the island.

During the 18-year musical career, Jona Marrero has acted in several well-known clubs on the island, among them former Noctua and participated in numerous private parties, with renowned artists.

In November last year 2009, is embarking on an interesting project, creating a collective ("Balito Crew") alongside some of his best friends Djs: Churi BOTG, Pedri Jaydee & Uncle Marre. The idea of the group stems from wanting to give people a different kind of party style where the public can participate more directly in the party, and giving the opportunity to artists who have not had the chance to get ahead in this world. Only six months later, we can say that the group works well, and enjoying a certain fame and reputation on the island. <span style="background: white">Colleagues in the world of the dishes have wanted to share experience with Balito Crew and have joined the group in many of their parties.</span>

Currently, Jona Marrero very intensely involved with the Collective, where he has scheduled several exciting events this summer 2010, also played in many clubs on the island.

A few months ago also began his career as a producer of electronic music and, as happened in the beginning with the dishes, no local influences in the world of production or any experience, but like many ideas and enthusiasm. Today has already produced several issues of House and Tech House, acclaimed and well accepted in different social networks and other pages of reputation in electronic music. <span style="background: white">Several projects are now underway, both solo and with other producers of the island, hoping to see the light, and many other ideas that will gradually settling.</span>
